Occupational health and safety officer — Jema'A

Join our team: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Jema'A, Kaduna State. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. The role involves: • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Part-time with flexible hours.
