Vacuum press operator wanted in City of Virginia Beach

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Your main tasks: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
