We are recruiting: pipe TIG welder (Michigan)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Antrim County, Michigan. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Day to day you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
