Concrete worker • Martin County, North Carolina

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete worker in Martin County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers 4+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
