Now hiring: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Webster Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. Requirements: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines The role involves set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling.
