Fitter on the line • Ketchikan Gateway Borough, Alaska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fitter on the line in Ketchikan Gateway Borough, Alaska. You will be based in a packaging and assembly workshop. Your main tasks: • Keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station • Report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away • Snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses • Solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier • Follow the work instruction sheet for each station • Carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts Requirements: • Previous experience on a production or assembly line preferred • Minimum 10th pass or ITI is an advantage Full-time with occasional weekends.
