Great opportunity: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Vernon County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a car refinishing workshop. Your main tasks: • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying Requirements: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
