Heavy equipment operator wanted in Kern County

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Kern County, California. The job is on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster You will operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; check for underground cables and services before digging.
