Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Washington County, Minnesota. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Your main tasks: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Run load and overload tests with test weights Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
