Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Richland County, South Carolina. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings 3+ years on the tools preferred.
