Garment machinist wanted in Brooks County

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment machinist in Brooks County, Texas. Day to day you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
