Glass fitter wanted in Dickinson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a glass fitter in Dickinson County, Iowa. The job is in a mirror and glass showroom. Day-to-day duties: • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead Requirements: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Rotating shifts.
