Now hiring: we are hiring a bodyshop painter in Rensselaer County, New York. The job is at a dealership paint shop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Good eye for colour matching and blending On the job you will handle: • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour Six days a week, one day off.
