Shuttering carpenter • Dan Musa, Katsina State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Dan Musa, Katsina State. You will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting. You should have: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Six days a week, one day off.
