Now hiring: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Sussex County, New Jersey. The job is in a hospital canteen. Your main tasks: • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls You should have: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
