Trowel-trade bricklayer • Canyon County, Idaho

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Canyon County, Idaho. On the job you will handle: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Full-time with occasional weekends.
