Urgent requirement: press shop operator (Kansas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a press shop operator in Leavenworth County, Kansas. The job is at a busy press shop. On the job you will handle: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
