Diesel mechanic — Butler County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a diesel mechanic in Butler County, Iowa. You will be based in a roadside repair garage. The role involves replace brake pads, discs and callipers; carry out oil and filter changes; check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid; service and replace timing belts and chains; read fault codes and clear them after the repair; replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters. You should have: • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
