Vertical transportation technician • Afikpo South, Ebonyi State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Afikpo South, Ebonyi State. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work The role involves: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Overtime paid at a premium rate.
