Now hiring: safety officer (California)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Plumas County, California. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations The role involves: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
