GTAW welder wanted in Wallace County

Join our team: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Wallace County, Kansas. The role involves: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 1+ years on the tools preferred.
