Immediate opening: gas appliance installer (Nebraska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Thomas County, Nebraska. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. Day-to-day duties: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
