Sample machinist • Geauga County, Ohio

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sample machinist in Geauga County, Ohio. Day-to-day duties: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
