Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork erector in City of Portsmouth, Virginia. The job is on a busy high-rise construction site. The role involves: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
