Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Warri South-West, Delta State. You will be based on an industrial construction site. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through On a typical shift you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode.
