Punch press operator — City of Lynchburg

We are recruiting: we are hiring a punch press operator in City of Lynchburg, Virginia. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. The role involves: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Full-time, day shift. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
