Lawn care technician wanted in Erie County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Erie County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a plant nursery. You will sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Full-time with occasional weekends.
