Argon arc welder wanted in Hoke County

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Hoke County, North Carolina. You will work on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding You will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
