Slinger signaller — Scurry County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Scurry County, Texas. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals On the job you will handle: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position 2+ years on the tools preferred.
