Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Crawford County, Indiana. You will work in the profile cutting and welding bay. You will read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it. You should have: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
