Vertical transportation technician • Gallatin County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Gallatin County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Six days a week, one day off.
