Vacancy available: port container crane operator (South Dakota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Charles Mix County, South Dakota. The role involves: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Current medical and eyesight certificate At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
