Fabricator-welder wanted in Hockley County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Hockley County, Texas. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day to day you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
