Concrete pump mate wanted in Douglas County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Douglas County, Washington. The job is at an infrastructure site. On a typical shift you will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Part-time with flexible hours.
