Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Wabash County, Illinois. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. On the job you will handle: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
