Urgent requirement: gantry crane operator (Arkansas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Calhoun County, Arkansas. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes On a typical shift you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
