Fire and safety officer — Fika

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Fika, Yobe State. You will work in a chemical processing unit. You should have: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Day to day you will record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry.
