Immediate opening: glass and glazing technician (North Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Cherokee County, North Carolina. You will be based on a construction site. On the job you will handle: • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts Requirements: • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Able to cut glass accurately to size Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
