Quality control inspector wanted in City of Charlottesville

Great opportunity: we are hiring a quality control inspector in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. You will be based in an electronics assembly workshop. On the job you will handle: • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts Requirements: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor 5+ years on the tools preferred.
