You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment The role involves keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron.
