Gas service engineer • Putnam County, West Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Putnam County, West Virginia. The job is at a busy gas installation company. On the job you will handle: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Performance bonus on top of base pay.
