Trowel-trade bricklayer • Kiyawa, Jigawa State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Kiyawa, Jigawa State. You will work on a commercial construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge 2+ years on the tools preferred.
