Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Kit Carson County, Colorado. On a typical shift you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
