Production welder — Stewart County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a production welder in Stewart County, Georgia. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Meals and transport allowance provided.
