Now hiring: fire and safety officer (Indiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in DeKalb County, Indiana. You will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
