Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Marquette County, Wisconsin. The job is on a housing development site. Day to day you will keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter. What we are looking for: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
