Cement mason wanted in Hughes County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cement mason in Hughes County, South Dakota. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. You will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods 5+ years on the tools preferred. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
