Pipe tig welder — Yagba East

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Yagba East, Kogi State. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Full-time with occasional weekends.
