Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Anderson County, Kentucky. You will work at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Day-to-day duties: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
