You will repair and re-tape damaged wiring looms; trace and fix short circuits and earthing faults; programme keys and reset immobilisers; repair air-conditioning electrical controls; diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner; check charging system output and battery voltage. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of CAN-bus and modern ECU systems • ITI certificate in auto electrical or electronics, or equivalent • Skilled with multimeter, test lamp and diagnostic scanner Rotating shifts.
